Stone Bird Baths and Sundials make handsome features in any garden, as with their other cast stone ornaments they are an interesting mix of traditional and contemporary styles, all finely crafted and expertly designed
David Coton was delighted to recently meet with Frank Honald, President and Owner of Henri Studio USA, who had flown in from Chicago to discuss the opportunity of bringing their products back into the UK next year.
Frank Honald's company, Stonecasters, took over an ailing Henri Studio in 2012, and accompanying him on his visit to GardenSite's show site in Birmingham was Tony Hobbs, the owner of Border Stoneware who are Henri's newly appointed UK distributors.
Since the takeover, Stonecasters have re-energised Henri Studio's US base and continued to expand its renowned range of premium quality classic and contemporary designs which have always proved extremely popular with our customers.
However, last year Kelkay decided to cease UK distribution and marketing, and GardenSite received the final delivery of these meticulously hand crafted and skilfully engineered fountains and garden ornaments in September.
Following their meeting, David said 'I was very pleased to meet with Frank for the first time, it was a real honour as our business has dealt with Henri for over 30 years. After talking about the takeover that saved the company we discussed future plans and the challenges of importing products from the US.'
He continued 'We are naturally enthusiastic about supporting the Henri Studio brand in the UK and, with Borderstone as the new exclusive distributor, GardenSite is already making arrangements to stock the product and will continue to supply the range online.'
Shop now for the limited stocks that are currently available but before ordering please call 0121 355 7701 to check availability. Products that were previously sold out can now be pre-ordered for delivery in early 2020.
GardenSite customers will be able to order any Henri Studio product from their entire range including spares and accessories. We will be receiving new stock at the garden centre during February in readiness for spring which hopefully is just around the corner, in the meantime David Coton suggests the jobs you should be tackling in the garden this month.
There's no doubt that television provides gardeners with inspiration, sound advice and good ideas, that's why we're all looking forward to new programmes and the return of old favourites during 2020.
In these uncertain times it's reassuring to know that Barlow Tyrie have been designing and manufacturing top quality teak furniture for nearly a century, and they have announced several new ranges to coincide with their one hundredth birthday.
