Our favourite gardening TV show at GardenSite, Love Your Garden is back on the big screen!
Now into its 12th season, Love Your Garden is back for 2022 and available on ITV, with episode one airing 22nd March 2022. However, as much as I'm looking forward to watching the first episode of the year, it's episode two, due to air on the 5th April 2022 that I'm even more excited for.

We all deserve our five minutes in the sun, and it always feels far more inviting to venture out into the garden as spring starts to arrive and we get the first few days of clear blue skies. It'll soon be a much more common occurrence now that the snowdrops and crocus have bloomed, allowing us to kick back, relax and eat alfresco style on an outdoor dining set, of which, the Barlow Tyrie Aura dining set seems like the perfect choice to me. So I am not surprised to learn that the team at Love Your Garden has had the same idea and will feature the Aura set in one of their new gardening makeovers.

Choose from three colour combinations

Here at GardenSite, we have always thought the Aura range from Barlow Tyrie offers everything that you'd need to create both a relaxing outdoor sofa area, as well as a practical dining set, letting you make the most of your garden throughout the warmer months.

To extend our love for the range, at our show site we have a set of Aura armchairs with graphite frames and charcoal slings along with a matching 150cm Aura dining table in the same graphite frame colour finish. In truth, we could have just as easily chosen the champagne and titanium colour version too as both offer a fun, vibrant finish. The alternate white and pearl colour (as featured on the show) also looks amazing and would be suited for any modern garden, as well as around a pool deck or near the coast. Sadly though, there isn’t too much ‘lapping of waves on the beach’ around our show site in the Heart of England.

In tune with today’s demands

I have always considered the Barlow Tyrie Equinox stacking armchair as the standard-bearer in the range but tastes and times have changed and I have to say that the Aura version has very unfussy lines that make it more in tune with today’s modern world. Oh, and there is a significant price advantage too, so that cannot be ignored either. Aura dining chairs are also available but do not feature the armrest, as an alternative, making them easier to neatly fit underneath a dining table and practical for wining and dining. Alternatively, you could mix and match your chairs to include both dining and armchair styles, perfect for suiting any guest's seating choice!

The Aura tables similarly reflect today’s demand for clean lines but still feature a fabulous teak top that is also picked up in the arms of the chairs.
