GardenSite’s Vivid Arts Range Becomes Even More… Vivid!
Gaby at GardenSite has recently been working on the Vivid Arts range of animal garden ornaments, creating fresh product imagery and close-up photographs of the range's wonderful and lifelike detailing.
In this blog, Gaby talks about who Vivid Arts are, what they offer to the world of ornaments, and how the updated product photoshoot really helps to show potential customers just how realistic this fantastic range is.
With the beautiful weather that has blessed the UK for the majority of August, GardenSite’s marketing team took the opportunity to get out of the office and venture into the great outdoors to take some fresh imagery of our wonderful range of animal garden ornaments, created by Vivid Arts.
With Glee 2022 still fresh in our memories, where we met with the Vivid Arts team and explored more about their innovative ‘Miniature World’ range, it got us thinking about how we could better market these creatures to our online consumers, who don’t always have the luxury of viewing these items in person to see their highly detailed and realistic finishes prior to making a purchase. As such, the team decided that more imaginative imagery of the products was essential as only basic stock images were used and so they made the most out of the sunshine and leafy green surroundings of the GardenSite HQ and got snapping.
With their cameras at the ready, the team began sourcing suitable locations as close to each of the animal’s ‘natural habitat’ as possible (which is limited in the mainland Birmingham town of Sutton Coldfield where GardenSite is based!). The photographers took advantage of our outdoor water feature display outside our aquatic superstore for our marine friends, including the tortoise, heron and golden eagle ornaments.
The team also made the most out of the foreground items that we already have in our garden centre as backdrops for the photos, including hay, turf and logs to create temporary homes for our farmyard friends.
Why choose Vivid Arts?
Have you been on an adventure to an exotic land and want something to remind you of your travels and unique experience? Have you moved to a big city after enjoying life living in the countryside surrounded by nature and wildlife? We have an animal for every occasion…
David Hall’s choices are the prowling tiger, red panda and standing chimpanzee ornaments which he has peeking out of bushes in his own garden at home to remind him of his time photographing wildlife whilst travelling through Asia with his wife, Stephanie.
We also have lots of customers who fall in love with our ‘pet’ range, made up mostly of different breeds of dogs, sometimes to serve as a memory of a past furry friend. See our gorgeous boxer dog, sitting alsatian and black labrador ornaments.
What makes Vivid Arts ornaments special?
Not only is this whole range of products beautifully hand-finished with the utmost care and detail, they are also highly durable and frost resistant, meaning you can place them in your preferred location all year round. The attention to detail together with the realistic posing means that these creatures look very authentic - our photographers even mentioned how often customers exclaimed that they couldn’t believe they weren’t real when being photographed around our busy Show Site!
