With an excellent reputation built up over many years and an ever expanding contemporary collection, a combination of eye-catching design, durability, and reasonable pricing ensures the continued popularity of Royalcraft outdoor furniture.

After meeting owner Abid Mir, I was shown around the showroom, warehouse and distribution centre by Lee Denniss, Royalcraft's Commercial Manager who stressed the firm's commitment to value for money products that were both reliably durable and aesthetically pleasing.

Royalcraft has several ranges of wooden, rattan and aluminium outdoor furniture together with gazebos and parasols, and some of the best selling designs such as the Wentworth Bistro Set, Turnberry Bench and the Milan Corner & Lounger Set might be familiar.

Sustainably sourced timber is used in the furniture's manufacture and one 'game changing' material that has recently received much positive publicity, and that Lee was keen to demonstrate, is Weather Shield water and stain resistant fabric.

Although initially reluctant to drench the fabric in red wine and orange juice and then rub in barbecue sauce, I was impressed when only a damp cloth was required to wipe over the surface, all the stains were removed and the fabric was returned to its original condition.

As well as furniture covers, Weather Shield is used for Royalcraft gazebos, providing effective protection against bad weather and those accidental spills that would, up until now, permanently spoil the appearance of your furniture.

The day spent at Royalcraft was very enjoyable and my thanks go to Mr. Mir and his team for their hospitality. I certainly came away excited about the prospect of working with Royalcraft next year when we'll be giving GardenSite customers the opportunity to buy their terrific furniture.

You can now find Royalcraft garden furniture for sale on GardenSite.co.uk.
