The past year has certainly been challenging for everyone, so GardenSite is particularly pleased to have been nominated for a Midlands Enterprise Award, a scheme that highlights innovative businesses and outstanding overall performance in the UK's heartland.

Nominees for this prestigious award represent a diverse range of leading firms throughout the Midlands, exciting and groundbreaking companies who have, particularly this year, found solutions to overcome the difficulties posed by the pandemic.

The awards are open to any small to medium-sized enterprise in the region, with GardenSite being nominated for one of the classification categories.

The next step is for a research team to assess the information and inner workings of nominated businesses and report back with a score, where a winner will be appointed thereafter.

GardenSite partner David Coton has been keen to explain to Dean Taylor, the awards coordinator, how the business has adapted during the pandemic.

With outstanding success over the last twelve months selling garden buildings and structures, and general growth fuelled by the lockdown and online spending. Cloud-based technologies have for example allowed seamless remote working and ongoing changes to processes and procedures are helping to support demand and adhere to ever-changing government restrictions.
While we still face many challenges both post-Brexit and as the pandemic continues, it has been clear to me how well everyone has worked together at GardenSite and our valued supplier partners.

Final judging by the SME News team who are sponsoring the awards will be based on various criteria including client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback, and business performance.

The results are announced in September and, if GardenSite wins an award, David Coton knows who deserves to be congratulated -

Should we be successful enough to win, it will be due to the dedication of the people we employ and all their hard work.

We look forward to hearing the results in September, and with congratulating all businesses involved.
