Building on the success of last year's first post-lockdown event, GLEE is returning to the NEC later this month. The UK’s leading garden and outdoor living trade show is moving from its usual September date to 28 – 30 June and promises to be one to remember.

Showcasing the most exciting brands, innovative products, and inspiring trends, GLEE brings the entire gardening industry under one roof. It's a great place for GardenSite to network with existing, new, and potential suppliers.

Robert Hall, Chairperson of GardenSite certainly thinks it is an event not to be missed:

"GLEE is always important for our buying activity, we have twice been voted Online Retailer of the Year and our customers rely on us to continually refresh our range, and there's no better place to source new products from the UK and overseas than here."

Split into eight sectors, we'll be taking particular interest in landscaping & garden decoration, garden care, outdoor entertaining and plants, and this year visitors can be guided around the exhibition centre by a new app that allows you to search products, locate suppliers and efficiently plan your visit without missing anything.

Every gardener knows that they play an important role in protecting the environment, that's why environmental concerns are also high on the GLEE agenda, and the reason why a partnership has been forged with 'Grow My Tree'.

This organization has already planted nearly a million trees in order to neutralize the world's carbon emissions, and each GLEE attendee will receive instructions on how they can sponsor the planting of one or more trees, perhaps using this idea as part of their product marketing – a simple strategy benefits both the company and the world.

GardenSite always looks forward to catching up with our suppliers, amongst whom are Zest who manufactures a large selection of timber products including planters, arches, and decorative structures.

This family firm will be launching a new range at GLEE including a Garden Bar and Two Stools Set, a Four Tier Raised Bed and the contemporary Freya dining and seating collection.

Garden Village is another supplier of timber products including the original wheelie bin and recycle box store, all handmade in Lancashire. They are attending for the first time because they want their brand to be 'introduced to key buyers and there's no better platform for this than GLEE'.

And that's also why GardenSite always has the event clearly marked on the calendar and we'll be present at the NEC on each of the three days, bringing you more information and further product news from what promises to be a great event.
