Pay No Money Today
What is "PAY NO MONEY TODAY"?
Like all good ideas PAY NO MONEY TODAY! is simple. When you order a large, expensive or bespoke product from us you make a comittment when offering your card details to the secure server. We match that comittment by not drawing down on those funds until the goods in question have been allocated, are ready for dispatch, or a disaptch date has been mutually agreed with the manufacturer. Your money stays in your bank longer giving you more control. As I said... simple.
How secure are my card details?
Our Payment Service Provider is Sage Pay (formerly Protx) - the largest independent payment service provider (PSP) in the UK and Ireland. Sage Pay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is Sage Pay's utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way.
Sage Pay uses a range secure methods such as fraud screening and I.P address blocking. Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.
Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.
Sage Pay is an active member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see "https://" in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL. So when buying through us, you can be sure that you are completely protected.
How long are my details held?
We have an agreement with SAGE PAY for them to hold these details, in an encrypted state, for up to 90 days. After this maximum period of time the details are automatically erased in line with current guide lines.
What happens if my goods are not ready for dispatch after 90 days?
As stated earlier, the answers are simple... we telephone you and ask you to give us the card details again verbally. In these circumstances we will contact you prior to the original details being erased.
What happens if I add to or subtract from my order?
There is a pre-defined limit as to how much we can amend the final bill, after the initial purchase. If you want to add or subtract a rainwater kit to your greenhouse order we can do this easily if you give permission. However if you changed the size of your greenhouse the original order would have to be superceded because of the large percentage change to the value of the order. Again, we would need to ring you.
How will I know if I can "PAY NO MONEY TODAY!"?
The goods that we offer this option for will clearly have the "PAY NO MONEY TODAY!" logo displayed on the page.
What if I want to pay in full for the goods when ordering?
When you place your order you will see a Customers Comments box during the checkout process. Just tell us that you want the funds drawing down immediately. Alternatively you can phone or e-mail us.
What type of goods do you offer "PAY NO MONEY TODAY!" on?
It can literally be any of the product lines we sell but normally we will offer "PAY NO MONEY TODAY!" on goods that are not always available for instant delivery like greenhouses, sheds, log cabins and bespoke items. However if you order any item that we do not have readily available we will not drawn down the payment until the goods are ready for disptach.
Do you offer "PAY NO MONEY TODAY!" on all payment gateways?
At the moment it is only available when you chose the Sage Pay payment gateway and NOT available when you choose the PAYPAL payment gateway.
Do you ever draw down the money and then cannot deliver the goods?
Yes! Incorrect information, human error, and many other factors may mean that we draw down the money before the goods are ready for dispatch. In the rare event that this does happen we will refund the money back into your account if you so wish... and apologise, of course.
