Description
The Prima Sophia by Lugarde is an extravagant garden building offering plenty of opportunities to relax, unwind, host dinner parties and spend time with friends or family within the summerhouse, or under the adjacent outdoor canopy and pergola.
Definitely a most striking structure, full of possibilities, and very well constructed using superior materials, you'll enjoy the Sophia whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling.
Northern European pine is slow growing timber and Lugarde make full use of its dense and very durable qualities. Pre-treated in a choice of colours, it is the perfect wood to use for this elegant garden building.
A double door leads into the summerhouse which is fitted with a wooden floor and has an EPDM covered roof, it's double glazed so the interior is a very light and pleasant place in which to spend time whatever the weather.
Outside, decorative side panels and balustrades line the edges, enhancing an already elegant appearance that is a combination of marvellous design and great functionality.
Lugarde's own Prima 3=1 assembly system means that even such a substantial building can be built in a straightforward manner with wall sections sliding into uprights that have been fitted with aluminium strips.
Pressure-treated foundation beams add to the Sophia's stability and, as all the timber has been kiln-dried to remove moisture, the outcome is a very solid, strong design that will never fail to please.

Floor Customisations
without a Floor
A no floor option for if you plan on placing your summerhouse straight onto a decked, patio, slabbed or concrete area and wish to use that as your summerhouse floor.
with Internal Floor
Internal floors are made from 19mm thick pine wooden boards which connect together with tongue and groove edges. The floor also includes pressure treated floor beams/bearers to raise the floor off the ground protecting against rising damp.

Select Paint & Treatment
Spray Treatment - Spray treatment is completed on both the interior and exterior sections of your building, including a primer and after-spray treatment to protect the wood against rotting and fungi. Retreating the outside of the structure within 6-12 months for maximum weathering protection is recommended.
Paint - Paint options include both the spray treatment (above) with the addition of a paint covering in your chosen colour, giving the best solution for long term protection against weathering, rot and fungi as well as offering an exterior colour finish. The outer walls are spray treated and colour painted, whilst the inside is spray treated in a colourless treatment, protecting your structure for at least 5 years before needing retreating or repainting. Note: Clear spray treatment is complementary when choosing a paint option, you do not need to select a spray treatment when choosing a painted option.
Choosing an Option - When choosing a spray treatment or paint option, you will need to choose either one spray treatment option, or one painted walls colour along with one painted windows & door colour.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 10 - 14 weeks but may be extended during busy times of the year. The carrier will be in contact to book a convenient delivery date nearer the delivery timeframe.
Vehicles We Use
Cabins are delivered directly to you from the Lugarde factory in Holland in a self-assembly kit form and will be offloaded using a piggy-back forklift truck to the nearest curbside only. The lorry is a large articulated type and so access must be suitable should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
Bespoke Crafted To Order Notice
A Lugarde building order cannot be cancelled once it has been dispatched. These items are deemed as a bespoke product as each one is crafted to order on a one-off basis specifically for you. Wood is a unique and natural product and the finish on the boards will vary. Variation will be seen as coarse or fine grain and shades of colour. Such properties are normal in wood and cannot be seen as a defect.
