Description
The Barbados Mini Log Cabin is the smallest cabin from Lasita's impressive Barbados collection, boasting a contemporary style with plenty of windows to allow it to be well-lit by natural light making it ideal for use as a garden office or summerhouse.
Just like the other Barbados cabins, the timber used for this model is slow-grown Nordic Spruce timber which is known for its long life expectancy, strong durability and clean finish.
The pent roof gives the cabin a contemporary feel that will fit into a variety of outdoor spaces and the cabin's relatively small footprint means it will fit into gardens on the smaller side. With a maximum roof height of 2.34m, those who live in Britain need not apply for planning permission based on the maximum height allowance of 2.5m, however, there are other stipulations to consider so we always recommend checking with your local authority before commencing construction.
Assembly is made easy by utilising the interlocking build system of the 44mm Nordic Spruce logs used for the walls, with full and detailed instructions provided. The floor and roof both make use of 18mm, tongue & groove boards adding both a smooth finish and durability to the structure. Furthermore, the durability is increased by the chalet corner jointing and pressure-treated bearers used throughout the cabin.
Entry to the cabin is granted through a set of large, laminated double doors that sports both double glazed windows and a stainless steel covered low threshold. Furthermore, on the front of the cabin, there are two large, premium double glazed single windows that open inwards using a tilt and turn mechanism. With all the windows on the front, the cabin is kept well-lit by natural light until sundown at which point you may want to make use of interior lighting.
The roof covering is not included, leaving you with a choice of felt, premium felt or shingles which are available in a variety of colours. Also available is a guttering kit, an insulation kit and a painted finish - choose from the options below.

We can deliver to certain non-mainland locations (as deemed by our carrier), however, a surcharge will apply. This includes delivery to:

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 8 weeks (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 - 8.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
