Grange are pledged to purchase an increasing proportion of their timber from forests environmentally well managed according to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Standards. Furthermore, in 2004 all pressure treatment processes were changed to arsenic-free and as from 2006 they switched to Wolman CX8 preservative. They guarantee all pressure impregnated products (such as posts) for a minimum of 10 years against rot. This guarantee also applies to non-pressure impregnated products (such as panels and trellis) that are isolated from the ground by a timber or concrete gravel board.

I assume the posts set into concrete and they are ready to receive the sections of railling, no welding is required. Is that correct? We Replied:
Dear David Thank you for your question. Your assumption is correct. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system Kind regards Nathan Jaes DoddFriday 11th, April, 2014

Can the Wenlock panels be cut into a shorter width? Do the posts allow for the panels to be installed with different heights to allow for sloping ground? We Replied:
Dear Neil, Thank you for your question. Yes the panel can be made to a smaller size. If you provide max gap dimensions, we can quote for a bespoke panel (has to be smaller, as we are not able to supply longer panels). If the ground is sloping, the posts have several holes allowing the fence go up and down the post a little bit. We have used these panels on a slope in our garden centre to great effect, but we used wooden posts painted black in between due to the height difference. I have added some pictures on this page to demonstrate this. Another alternative would be to use the tall post which you could sink into the ground or cut down to size /Garden_Structures/Tall_Metpost_for_Metal_Gates_and_Fences.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Do the panels for the Wenlock railing sections come with the brackets to fix them onto the post (in our case it would be to fix onto existing treated posts), and, if they do not, how many do you need for each panel and how much are they?We Replied:
Dear Susan Thank you for your question. Yes, each of the Wenlock Fence panels come complete with fittings. In this instance, each fence railing is provided with 4 brackets (2 for each side) and nuts/bolts to match, so you will be able to attach them straight away to your treated posts. I hope that this information helps. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system.
