Free Delivery within Mainland England and Wales
Inclusive delivery within mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland. Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. Delivery Period
Delivery is normally within 4 - 6 weeks as these products are made to order.
Although, due to the made-to-measure nature, the delivery may be extended during busy times of the year. If the delivery timeframe of your order is imminent, please call us before ordering so that we can confirm the current lead time.
Measurements & Gap Width
Please note that when entering your custom measurements, the "width" that we require is for the total gap width for your gate or fence, it is not the gate/fence width. The gap width is the space between post to post or wall to wall and takes into calculation the necessary space for fittings and fixtures, whereas a gate/fence width is the physical width for the gate/fence only. The measurements which you provide must be for the gap width, to ensure a perfect fit with the addition of fixing brackets.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

The gap that my made to measure gate will have to fit into is 69.5 cm at the smallest, can you advise if I need to allow a more space for fitting hinges and latch\lock?
We Replied:Dear Simon Thank you for your question. All of our made to measure gates require just the full gap size, then when your gate is made, the team will work out the actual size of the gate with allowance for the fixings. It sounds like you have done this already, but when measuring the gap width, it's always advisable to take three horizontal measurements between the gap opening. This should be at the top, middle and bottom for where the gate will sit. Take the lowest measurement to calculate the gate width.
