Description
This innovative and practical medium mini greenhouse kit from Vegepod provides you with everything you need to start your very own crop of vegetables or herbs without any of the usual hassles.
This no-nonsense miniature greenhouse kit from Vegepod has been designed in Australia with a view to provide you with the ultimate comprehensive growing system. It's perfect for growing your very own crop of vegetables or herbs with a generous 1m² of growing space. It sports a modular design so it is very easy to assemble, requiring no tools or experience to do so, enabling you to have it up and running in under an hour.
Once planted, your crops will need only minimal manual watering due to the built-in reservoirs that can hold up to 32 litres of water. These reservoirs sit just below the soil allowing your crops to wick up only the water they need, allowing them to go for weeks without additional water.
Your plants are kept in a microclimate just as they would be inside a greenhouse by using the commercial grade mesh canopy that comes included in the package. This canopy offers 17% shade, allowing sunlight, water and air to penetrate so your crops won't wilt to the effects of extreme heat and humidity. This canopy is secured to the stand with wind-resistant, canopy hinged clips, which not only allows for easy access to your pod but also keeps out unwanted pests such as slugs, birds or anything else that may want a nibble on your veggies! Your kit will also come with a PVC winter cover, which traps heat inside and keeps extreme cold and precipitation out.
Once assembled, this canopy will have a hose line, fitted with 2 misting sprays, running along the top on the underside. By simply attaching your hose to this one, you can easily manually water your crops by turning on your tap and letting the misting sprays do the work, with a nice even spread of water and without having to raise the canopy which would compromise the microclimate within.
As a self-contained, raised miniature greenhouse you are able to control the growing conditions separately from the outside environment. Furthermore, as a kit, your Vegepod will come inclusive with a stand, raising the bed to approximately 90cm off the ground, avoiding the first frosts and pests and saving your back!
This stand can be upgraded to a trolley below, allowing for easy movement of the entire pod.

Only otherwise available in commercial farming, Vegepod Booster is a premium quality edible plant solution with a complex formula. It's a unique blend which has been specifically formulated to stimulate and rejuvenate soils for edible plants as they demand vigorous and sustained productivity within contained raised beds such as a Vegepod.
1)Shake well before use
2)Must be diluted to approx. 30ml of Booster to 9 litres of water
3)Apply every 2 weeks to boost poor soil quality or rejuvenate depleted soils
Do not use in conjunction with other fertilisers.
For soils already rich in nutrients, apply as a conditioner every 4 weeks to keep the soil rich and healthy.

The cover creates a greenhouse/polly tunnel environment for plants, allowing sunlight to come through and trapping the heat in, whilst keeping extreme cold and precipitation out.
For extreme cold or poor light environments, users are recommended to take off the existing canopy mesh before sheathing the clear PVC cover on. This removes the 17% shade supplied by the existing canopy.
These winter covers are also used for protective early plant propagation (raising of seeds/seedlings), early season planting (e.g.: winter tomatoes) or season extenders (summer crops into autumn).
Please take care to remove covers as soon as periods of warmth begin or you will otherwise typically ‘cook’ your plants”
