Description
With a very useful amount of space, the Heron 14ft x 8ft wide Lean To greenhouse will prove attractive to many gardeners whatever their skills and experience.
Everyone will appreciate both its traditional timber appearance and the modern resilient qualities of ThermoWood®. This is heat treated wood that has had moisture and resin extracted, so eliminating expansion and contraction with the result that it is highly resistant to warp as well as decay.
With a longer lifespan and no need for preservatives, the Heron offers great quality at fabulous value, and only Swallow build their greenhouses with ThermoWood®.
There's a wonderful environment inside the greenhouse with three roof vents introducing fresh air. Each vent is fitted with an automatic opener which is vital if you want to maintain perfect conditions when you are away from home.
Staging is already fitted along one side and extra is available as an option together with a high level shelf. Toughened glass, a legal necessity if the lean to covers an entrance is securely in place and sealed.
Easy access is always an important aspect of any greenhouse and double doors, that are fitted with a mortice lock, can be located at either end of this splendid structure that will enhance your garden as well as your gardening.

Dimensions do not include any applicable overhang or guttering, so please ensure that there is sufficient space around your proposed greenhouse base without obstruction, for it to be sited and installed successfully.
Note: Larger 16ft x 8ft and smaller 12ft x 8ft versions of this Lean To are available.
Optional Extras for your Swallow Greenhouse
Staging along one side is included as standard in your Swallow GB Greenhouse, however, an additional High Level Shelf and Extra Staging on the end to make an L shape is an option below and can also be painted in a colour to suit. The Hunter Gutter and Downpipe Kit allows you to collect and reuse rainwater - the best water for all plants - this is available as an optional extra below.
Please Note: Imagery may show Dove Lean To's of a different size and optional extras that must be purchased separately. A suitable flat, level and sturdy base must be prepared before the delivery / Installation date to ensure a hassle free installation.

Your greenhouse will come as standard in a ThermoWood® none painted finish for no extra cost.

Delivery Information
Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England and Wales.
Inclusive delivery and installation are limited to mainland England, Wales and Scotland up to a maximum of 15 miles further North of Glasgow.
Unfortunately, Swallow greenhouses cannot be delivered and installed to areas of Scotland above 15 miles North of Glasgow or the Scottish Highlands free of charge, so additional costs would apply as detailed in the options above. Delivery and installation can't be carried out to Offshore Islands and Isles, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 8 weeks for standard Thermowood, Oiled frames, and Painted greenhouses frames to the majority of locations upon ordering, and after confirming that your base area is prepared and ready for installation of your new greenhouse.
*Note: Some delivery locations such as Scotland, Devon, and Cornwall, as well as Ilfracombe, Exeter and anything West off unfortunately currently have extended delivery timeframes due to the additional distance required for the delivery and for our installation team to travel. This can be up to an additional 4 weeks on top of the standard quoted lead times.
All Swallow greenhouses are crafted to order, so maybe extended during busy times of the year.
Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Back garden access is required from the front of the property, as due to the size of the product and the large sections that they are delivered in, the installation/delivery team are unable to carry these items inside your home as the sections are unlikely to pass through standard indoor door sizes. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. If the installation/delivery team is unable to gain access to the installation area from the front of the property, they may not be able to complete the installation, and a cancellation or rebooking charge may apply.
Base Preparation
A suitable, flat, and level base must be prepared prior to the arrangement of delivery and installation, which can affect the delivery and installation timeframe - so please ensure that this is pre-prepared as soon as possible so that your greenhouse can begin production. The installation team will contact you approx 3 weeks in advance and will request a photo of the proposed installation area before being able to confirm a delivery and installation date. This is to ensure that the area is ready and suitable, ensuring successful installation on the day.
