Description
Discover the elegance of the swallow eagle 8 x 6 ft thermowood greenhouse, crafted from heat-treated Scandinavian timber for durability and style. Its Victorian glasshouse design offers ample light, ventilation, and integral shelving for optimal growing conditions. This charming structure enhances any garden, making plant cultivation both efficient and delightful.
Beautiful Scandinavian timber is used throughout, it's been heat treated to ensure resistance to rot and warping. This is perfect timber to enhance the greenhouse's delightful appearance but, as an alternative, you can opt for a different coloured finish as there are nine pastel shades available..
There are many standard features that set this greenhouse apart and emphasise its quality. These include silicone sealed toughened safety glazing that allows masses of light into the interior, and guttering with two down pipes. Side vents and a roof vent guarantee essential air circulation, the latter is fitted with an automatic opener which will prove especially useful if you are away from home.
Staging is important in any greenhouse, here it is fitted as standard along one side together with a high level shelf which will be useful for storing all the small items such as seed trays and pots that need to be close at hand. More staging and shelves can be optionally be added to your order if required using the options below.
Finally, you'll notice that this top quality greenhouse has delightful finishing touches, most noticeably a turned apex finial, an ornate door handle, black hinges and door stays together with black aluminium cresting.

Oiled Finish - Upgrade to an oiled finish to receive the same benefits of Thermowood from the standard finish, plus an an added oiled coating.
The oiled finish will help to protect the timber even further, and lasts for 12 months on average before requiring retreatment for continued protection.
Painted Finish - Alternatively, upgrade to one of the painted colour finishes which utilises standard Thermowood, along with two topcoats and then glazed and sealed in your chosen colour. On average, the painted colour finish will persist and protect the greenhouse for around 3-5 years before requiring repainting.

Delivery & Installation Overview
Where We Can Deliver To As Standard -
Inclusive delivery and installation is available to the majority of mainland England, Wales and Scotland up to a maximum of 15 miles further North of Glasgow.
Where We Can Deliver To That Requires An Additional Surcharge -
An additional surcharge will be applicable for Swallow greenhouse delivery and installations to areas of Scotland above 15 miles North of Glasgow or the Scottish Highland, if the location is available to service, and isn't part of our exceptions listed below. For serviceable locations, the surcharge price can be found under the ‘Delivery & Install Options’ above, and this option will need to be selected upon ordering.
Where We Are Unable To Deliver To -
Unfortunately, delivery and installation cannot be carried out to the following locations due to service limitations:
- All IV Postcodes
- All HS, KV, ZE Postcodes
- All PA Postcodes
- Limited PH Postcodes

Delivery & Installation Timeframe
*Delivery and installation will typically be made within 8 - 12 weeks to the majority of England and Wales locations, along with Scotland, Devon and Cornwall.
Delivery timeframes start from when confirmation has been submitted that your base area is prepared and ready for installation of your new greenhouse, and not from the date of your order being placed.
Both the delivery of your new greenhouse and the installation service will be completed at the same time and so the installation team will be the ones to deliver your greenhouse when they arrive to install it.
All Swallow greenhouses are crafted to order, so maybe extended during busy times of the year.
Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Pay In Full or Pay Just a 20% Deposit
On our Swallow greenhouse range we allow the ability to pay in full at the time of ordering, either online through our website or on the phone. Or alternatively, we can arrange to confirm and take your order with just a 20% deposit taken at the time of ordering, with the remaining balance to be paid on the day of your greenhouse delivery and installation. If you'd like to order your Swallow greenhouse today by paying a 20% deposit, simply give us a call on 0121 355 7701 so that we can send you over a unique order invoice for your deposit payment, and all of the handy details relating to receiving your new greenhouse.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Back garden access is required from the front of the property, as due to the size of the product and the large sections that they are delivered in, the installation/delivery team are unable to carry these items inside your home as the sections are unlikely to pass through standard indoor door sizes. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. If the installation/delivery team is unable to gain access to the installation area from the front of the property, they may not be able to complete the installation, and a cancellation or rebooking charge may apply.
Base Preparation
A suitable, flat, and level base must be prepared prior to the arrangement of delivery and installation, which can affect the delivery and installation timeframe - so please ensure that this is pre-prepared as soon as possible so that your greenhouse can begin production. The installation team will contact in advance and will request a photo of the proposed installation area before being able to confirm a delivery and installation date. This is to ensure that the area is ready and suitable, ensuring successful installation on the day.
Dimensions do not include any applicable overhang or guttering, so please ensure that there is sufficient space around your proposed greenhouse base without obstruction, for it to be sited and installed successfully.
