Description
The Palram Canopia Balance 8ft x 20ft Greenhouse in silver is impressive in many respects, not least its size, strength and the potential it presents to a keen gardener who wants to grow a diverse range of plants.
Palram Canopia's sliding panel system is used to construct this large and very practical garden building, this is an uncomplicated process which will yield quick results and you'll soon have an attractive and potentially very productive greenhouse.
Designed to resist strong winds and bad weather, a galvanized metal base is supplied and, as the aluminium frame is rust and corrosion resistant. only minimal maintenance is required to ensure the greenhouse retains its good looks.
All the glazing is made from virtually unbreakable UV resistant polycarbonate, there are twin panels on the roof to aid heat retention, and the clear side panels let through lots of light to create a flourishing environment for your plants.
Double doors are appropriate for a structure of this size, they slide open over a low threshold to make entry into the greenhouse easy even if you are pushing a wheelbarrow or carrying tools or large items.
Plants love air to circulate within a greenhouse, that's why there are four roof vents that can be operated manually but alternatively you can invest in automatic openers to save time and trouble. They are also extremely useful whenever you are away from home and there's no-one to open the vents.
The vents will prevent excessive temperature and humidity, and a louvre window can also be chosen from the options list to ensure optimum ventilation is achieved and hence the best growing conditions. Another accessory that may well be used in high summer is a shade kit when sunlight becomes too intense.
To help with sowing, potting and growing, there is a work bench and several types of shelving available, also an irrigation kit and an anchoring kit if the greenhouse is in a particularly windswept position.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
