Three types of glazing are available for your greenhouse. Choose from standard horticultural, long pane toughened or 6mm polycarbonate options which let you customise your greenhouse to suit your needs.
Glass diagram images below are for demonstration of the glazing styles and may differ depending on your chosen greenhouse model.
with Horticultural Glazing (SO0201)
Standard 3mm glass which consists mostly of 2ft by 2ft panes, overlapping each other with the use of clips to hold one above another. This type of glass is traditional and very economical but tends to shatter into shards when smashed, so isn't recommended if you have children or pets.

with Long Pane Toughened Glazing (70938)
Long pane 3mm toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

with Polycarbonate Glazing (SO0208)
Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable material, better described as being a highly durable, 4mm thick twin-wall, opaque coloured plastic glaze rather than actual glass. This makes it the safest material where children and pets are concerned and the simplest type to install due to the large yet lighter panes. It also refracts the light very well.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Installation Services
with Greenhouse Installation
We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England. But excludes Wales, Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the delivery of your greenhouse.
Note: A base plinth MUST be purchased above for installation services to be valid. The installers will not complete the installation without a matching base plinth. Please find our Halls Installation Terms and Preparation Checklist here.

Delivery Information
Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.
Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

My first Greenhouse
The Greenhouse was delivered on the date and time advise and the driver helpful. It took me a few days to erect by myself and I found the instruction easy to follow. I had a glass pane delivered smashed and the company replaced it within a few days. Greenhouse is now in use and hopefully will last many years. An excellent buy

Found the greenhouse easy enough to assemble . The door was the most complcated bit i thought . Looks up a few videos on youtube and got the information i needed. All parts assemble well and are a perfect fit . Also looked up youtube on tips how to apply the rubber glazing strip and it was a good help also.. fully glazed and tomato plants in it in just under 2 days. Happy with the greenhouse and the price i paid couldnt be matched anywhere else . Delivered to Northern Ireland is just under 2 weeks .

the best company i have dealt with
from ordering to delivery which was day stated arrange for them to fit was kept informed the whole way fitters rang and asked if could come a week early and at 8 am I said fine they turn up exactly on time done a superb job the only problem that had was when unpacking glass crate 1 sheet of toughened glass was broken now waiting for replacement

Great product - shame about the delivery lorry
Fantastic product at a competitive price - website ordering was very straightforward including option extras. Only issue was the difficulty with delivery - for some reason a huge articulated lorry was sent to deliver which couldn't get down our driveway (which without sounding crass is a large driveway - we regularly have skips etc. with no trouble) - some better handling of this rather than a slightly irate driver would have made this purchase perfect.

If positioned on soil, will this greenhouse be strong enough to withstand high winds?
We Replied:Dear Len Thank you for your question. As standard, the base frame kit for these greenhouses comes with pre-installed spikes which secure down into soft ground such as soil or grass, thus offering a more stable base frame for the rest of the greenhouse to be installed onto. Once the real glass has been installed (horticultural or toughened) along with the metal frame and base, the greenhouse is quite weighty and secure. However, if you live in a high-wind prone area and the greenhouse is to be sited in an open space without any natural wind barriers near such as fences, hedges etc then you may wish to look at an Eden branded greenhouse instead as they offer a thicker main frame more suited to withstand higher winds. I have prepared a concrete base measuring 6'10" x 10'1.5". Is it necessary to secure the greenhouse to it or can I leave it free standing. If I do need to attach, how do I do that?
We Replied:Dear Vic Thank you for your question. We would always recommend securing the greenhouse to a hard standing base, with the use of L-brackets and anchor bolts.
