Description

Elegantly compact is an accurate description of the Halls 6ft x 8ft Silverline greenhouse with a powder-coated green frame.

With a large working area, you'll be delighted at just how much room there is and how elegantly it is designed. Particularly where there's limited space, the Halls Green Framed Silverline 8ft x 6ft Lean-To Greenhouse excels. As standard, this greenhouse comes complete with toughened glazing, which is real glass and a much stronger alternative to cheaper horticultural glazing offered elsewhere.

You can sow seeds, propagate them or grow all kinds of plants, the Silverline design combines the practicality of a lean-to with good looks and a natural green finish to blend into the garden surroundings. Mounted against any wall, it will be a pleasure to spend as much time as possible in a Halls greenhouse that offers so much for so little.

The width of this model refers to the left and right sides where the door can be located. The depth refers to the curved front and open-back sides.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Please Note: If you're having your greenhouse installed by the Halls team, you will need to purchase this base along with your greenhouse.

Delivery Information

Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.

Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.

For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Lean to greenhouse

To order was easy. Delivery was when stated. Full instructions came with it. When unpacked there was one piece of glass broken, phoned customer service no problems and replacement arrived a few days later. All in all very happy with product and service. Would recommend to anyone.

First class design and installation

Whoever thought of putting the door at either end deserves a bonus as it's a lifesaver for someone like me with restricted outdoor space. I love the shape of this lean to and inside I've placed a chair so that I can chill out among all my plants. If you're not too good at DIY I recommend the installation service, and staging is a must as well.

Needed some forethought but worth the planning

My wall was pretty uneven so I put a wooden baton against the wall first like a goal post. Once this was in place I had a flat wooden surface on which to attach the metal frame. This worked very well even though there is a little leaking when it rains heavily. More mastic required here I think. The Lean to looks very smart once its up and is a pleasure to use as you feel like you are in a bubble that the elements can't penetrate. Would recommend even though there are quite a few nuts and bolts to tighten and you need some help to put in the glass, though it does all fit in place pretty quickly.
