Description
There can't be many other garden buildings that offer as much style and versatility as the 8ft x 16ft Edge 800 Greenhouse from Elite, a modern enhancement for any landscape.
From the outside you will be immediately impressed by the soaring pent roof and as you enter the greenhouse you'll discover just how much headroom and spaciousness this contemporary design feature creates.
With light flooding through the full-length glazing with neoprene beading, the interior becomes a very inviting space that's full of potential. Only toughened glass is used for safety reasons as it does not break into dangerous shards.
There's no doubt about the strength of the aluminium frame as Elite have employed core-vect technology taken from their heavy-duty Titan greenhouses. The corners have reinforced profiles and stainless steel fittings are used.
The frame's milled aluminium finish can be exchanged for eleven other colours with coordinated bar capping, these are hardwearing powder coatings that, similar to the frame, are designed to withstand severe weather conditions.
Entry into the greenhouse couldn't be easier than through the wide double doors that slide open, there's a low threshold and another set of lockable doors can be fitted if even greater access is required.
The greenhouse can be install on a number of different surfaces helped by the fact that there's an integral base frame and once in position you'll soon discover how much room there is inside whatever use you have in mind.
With a louvre window and two vents already creating a fresh flow of air, more can be added and these can be fitted with automatic openers to ensure consistency of temperature and humidity whether you are present or not.
Shelving and staging in different styles and sizes are available from the list of accessories and options, rainwater can be recycled by fitting a collection kit and butt to the guttering, and heaters will keep the greenhouse warm all year round.

Accessories > Staging
Elite's super strength slatted Aluminium or Power-Coated staging can be fitted to any Elite greenhouse through the use of cantilever bracing, which is attached directly onto the greenhouse framework with no visible legs, also keeping clear valuable workspace underneath.
You can have staging down one or both sides of your greenhouse, either to fully fit the sides or just to partially cover.

By adding a shelf or two to your greenhouse, you'll have added workspace areas to store small tools, pots and seedlings. Each set of shelves comes complete with the necessary braces to install them to your Elite greenhouse frame.
Shelving can be installed on both sides of your greenhouse.

with Electric Palma 2KW Heater
A 2KW Electrical floor-standing heater that is ideal for smaller greenhouse where space is limited.
Using the separate digital thermostat you can set temperatures in the range of -50°C to + 99°C with an unrivalled output of 2000 W and air circulation rate of 400 m3/h. This ensures that your greenhouse is always maintained at the right level.
with Paraffin Heater Super Warm 5
Ideal as a frost heater in larger greenhouses or for more
concentrated use in a greenhouse up to 5 square metres, the
Super Warm 5 boasts a 4.5 litre capacity fuel tank which will
burn continuously for a staggering 3.5 days on one filling.

with Elite Standard Rainwater Kit
Each standard kit includes two downpipes (with stopper for the opposite end), offering one downpipe for each left and right side of the greenhouse. This allows rainwater to flow out of the two downpipes, and optionally be stored into two water butts (sold separately).
Purchasing two kits will give you four downpipes, one for each corner of your greenhouse, allowing rainwater to be optionally stored into four water butts (sold separately).
with Rainwater Kit to One Gutter Kit
An easy way to combine the integral gutters on your greenhouse roof to a single outlet.
This kit includes pipework that goes along the back of your greenhouse, connecting both sides of the integral roof guttering, then flowing out of one single downpipe.
This means that you will only need one water butt.
You do not require the standard rainwater kit if you opt for this version.

This compact and slim design water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic design with a capacity of up to 100 litres (22 gallons). Made to complement the rainwater kit, this barrel ensures the collection of rainwater is a simple task, and when raised on the included stand allows for simple access to the incorporated tap.

This Elite water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic barrel design with a capacity of up to 210 litres (46 gallons). Our standard, inclusive delivery is to the majority of mainland areas: mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland*

Inclusive along the A74(M) and M74 corridor, or the A76 corridor to Kilmarnock and Ayr, (but NOT west of Dumfries), and then onwards up to the Glasgow and Edinburgh area. Delivery Timeframe
Delivery will typically be made within the below timeframes, depending on the model:
- Any Greenhouse with Standard Silver Frame: 4 - 5 Weeks
- Compact, Streamline, Craftsman, High Eave & Belmont Greenhouses with Powder Coated Frame: 8 - 10 Weeks
- Titan, Lean To, Dwarf Walls, Edge, Zenith, Supreme & Classique Greenhouses with Powder Coated Frame: 10 - 14 Weeks
Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically a Class II, 15 tonne, 11’4” high, 30’ long and 8’6” wide lorry. This may depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Please Note: Some retailers offer non-genuine copies of Elite greenhouse frames or Elite frames along with non-genuine glazing, bases, powder coating, staging and accessories. When purchasing from GardenSite, you are buying 100% genuine and official Elite products including the frame, glazing and accessories. All painted frames are protectively wrapped; all bases are aluminium; all fittings are stainless steel and only high tensile bolts are used.
