Description

The Halls Cotswold Broadway 8ft by 6ft lean-to greenhouse with a black frame offers a practical and compact space for potting and planting.

Boasting plenty of space, this lean-to model is perfect for gardening as well as storing a variety of plants. The black finish powder-coated frame is highly durable, allowing the greenhouse to withstand harsh weather conditions.

The design of the lean-to allows there to be a warm environment inside for a longer amount of time in comparison to a freestanding. The reason for this is that the wall behind the greenhouse retains all of the heat from the day and once the lower temperatures prevail during the night, the heat from the wall is emitted inside the greenhouse.

A support bar along the door frame area, which is common with other greenhouses is not needed with this modern design, which makes it easier to get in and out, especially with a wheelbarrow.

There are a variety of accessories that are included with the greenhouse which includes a key locking system to make sure your greenhouse is protected at all times, integral guttering to help store and also reuse rainwater, and finally the roof vent to help with ventilation.

Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.

Delivery to mainland England, Wales and Scotland locations are inclusive, However, additional delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a delivery surcharge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier. See the “Services: Delivery” option above to view and select the delivery surcharges to these locations.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.

For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

lean-to that makes an excellent conservatory

Quality of design and materials used is obvious. Put up against back wall of house where it frames the existing french windows. Being on the sea front we can suffer from sea breezes and this allows us to sit out in the sun but out of the wind. Took two of us 20 hours spread over four days to erect. Plenty of spares fasteners provided. If you go for the toughened glass you will do well to follow their advice to use soapy water when fitting the retaining strips. My own tips would be read the instructions carefully and take your time. If you don't already know any, learn some profanities, you will need them. Don't use your own ratchet which may apply too much torque to the bolts. They are an alloy and the threads will distort if you use too much force which means they will break when undone. To prevent that, use the socket they provide, it is a quality tool. Ordering was easy and they have friendly and helpful staff on the telephones. To sum up I can thoroughly recommend this lean-to (conservatory)

As good as a conservatory

I'm really enjoying my lean to, a bit of a struggle to get it erected but worth the effort, it may have been better to opt for the installation service but the integral base helped. No threshold is great especially if you're not so nimble on your feet, and the whole structure looks and feels the same as a more expensive conservatory. If you can, go for the extra louvre, mine's south facing so gets hot but leaving the vent, louvre and the door open creates enough ventilation. Altogether very happy with my purchase.
