Cool in so many respects, the pergola is concisely designed with clean lines created by slats that provide dappled shade to the interior. A marvellous place to dine and entertain, it's also easy to picture yourself relaxing with a book or newspaper.
A screen shields you from any breeze and more can be added to form an area that has increased privacy. Use hanging baskets to adorn the roof and planters can be located to introduce colour and interest.
The high quality planed timber, from which the pergola is constructed, is very robust, and has support from 90mm square posts. Clearly, this is a substantial structure that will enhance your garden within a very modern fashion.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Urban Pergola dissapointing
Delivery was prompt, although I had to help the driver to unload all the items individually as he didn't have a fork lift. However all the wood was absolutely soaking wet through. I had to store it on racks in my garage till it dried out. The roof and side slats were not very good quality and full of knots, a few had distorted badly. When I asked for 5 replacements I was told it was I had painted them? And despite several phone calls and emails nothing happened. One of the roof bearers was distorted and could not be fitted I had to source a replacement. Overall a reasonable product but let down by back up.

Delivery prompt, pergola wood good quality and the instructions easy to follow. Needs two people to construct.

I would initially have to site this pergola onto plain softish earth, can the wooden uprights be buried into the earth or how can the structure be secured? Also, if the wood does goes into the earth how long before rot starts? I would love to purchase complete with further panels and ideas would be of great help.
We Replied:Dear Ron Thank you for your question. The structure is heavy and sturdy enough to be free standing. Metposts can be used to secure the pergola, however the posts are 90mm square and unfortunately we don’t supply Metposts for 90mm posts. However we do supply a 100mm post spike which would require you to use a thin piece of wood inside the Metpost to create a snug fit with the posts of the pergola; https://www.gardensite.co.uk/Landscaping/Grange_System_2_for_100mm_Posts.htm. If the ground is soft, put the posts on small concrete bases of some kind to enable the structure to be level and balanced correctly to avoid sinking. The pergola is pressure treated and has a 10 year guarantee against rot, however if legs are on concrete water wont gather and the timber will have a longer life span.
