Description

If you enjoy lots of colour and scent in your garden, the lattice panels on the attractive chunky Forest Ultima Pergola Arch are perfect for a varied selection of climbing plants.

As well as being able to grow climbing plants on the sides, it also makes for an eye-pleasing focal in the garden, particular over a pathway or entrance. The Ultima Pergola Arch is crafted from planed timber and so is smooth to the touch, adding a natural feel to an already impressive structure. It is freestanding, secured with matching feet anchors (see options below) or can be sunk into the ground via the extra post length underneath the trellis.

Rafters provide a stylish pergola-style roof on top of the arch, which is all simple to assemble and is pressure treated for long life. The timber itself is responsibly sourced from right here in the UK, using PEFC Certified timber.

We're proud to have been selling the Forest Ultima Pergola Arch with Trellis at the best price online for over 5 years and have sold over 450 units, proving just how popular this one arch is and why so many customers love having it in their gardens!

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. A much-admired arch

I have been very pleased with this attractive arch which has been admired by several neighbours since I put it in a few weeks ago. One of the legs was slightly warped but it doesn't show now the arch is up. It is a heavy, cumbersome beast when assembled and needed 2 people to move it into position. I found it helpful to put some temporary struts across the legs about 2ft up to hold the legs in position until I had concreted them in. It would have been helpful to have had instructions on how to concrete it in including how to support it and get it level/upright whilst doing this. I had it supported temporarily on the trellis sides but was concerned they might not bear the weight and so had used extra screws on the trellis sides, which did then hold the weight.

Will any fence spikes for soil be ok for this pergola arch or do they have to be purchased through garden site? What size approx would i need?

Sarah Asked:

What’s the maximum space you can have between posts or does it have to be 1280mm? Would the rafters be capable of taking the weight for a swing?

We Replied:

Dear Sarah Thank you for your question. The maximum width between the posts is 128cm. We wouldn't advise trying to attach anything to the roof structure, such as a swing, as it hasn't been designed or tested to be used as such. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Gaby
