Questions and Answers (4)
Could you please advise the width The Portico Pergola Arch between the posts. We Replied:
Dear David Thank you for your question. The pergola posts are adjustable and can go in and out along the top bar if that makes sense. The posts themselves are 95mm square. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James DoddThursday 28th, May, 2015
What is the distance between the posts of the Grange Portico Pergola and the cross section posts? We Replied:
Dear Rob Thank you for your question. It is 61cm between the posts, and the cross section beams are approximately 20cm apart from each other. These can be altered though if you would prefer to move them. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Are the posts capable of supporting a gate?We Replied:
Dear Norman Thank you for your question. This structure would be strong enough to support a standard gate and also the Elite Portico Arch would support a picket gate and this can also be viewed on our website: /Garden_Structures/Elite_Portico_Arch_from_Grange.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards MarshaFriday 16th, September, 2016
Will the arch support a wisteria? We Replied:
Dear Vivienne Thank you for your question. Due to the thick posts on this arch, it should be suitable for growing a wisteria. However, if you plan to place the arch on a flat surface as pictured, such as patio, decking or slabs, then we would recommend anchoring the arch onto the ground with the use of bolt-down feet, such as these: /landscaping/grange-bolt-down-anchor-galvanised.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards AndyThursday 29th, March, 2018
