The natural timber is particularly effective in breaking up hard landscaping, full of flowers and plants to engender colour and vibrancy.

Solidly built with tongue and groove panels, the planter can be painted or stained if desired.

The wood has also been pressure treated to ensure longevity and the whole planter is easily assembled from full instructions.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days. Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland, and note that delivery times may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Solid wood construction

Made with good solid pressure treated wood once made it looked good and was quite easy to assemble. However the last job securing the bottom was not quite as easy as it did not quite fit, slightly too small (I bought 2 and both were the same). The bottom is secured with screws which are the only thing holding the bottom in, no rail or other fixing. I was worried that if the screws rusted through then the bottom would drop out so I replaced the supplied ones with better quality screws and added a few more. They were good value for the price I paid in a sale but don’t think I would pay the full price.

Easy to assemble

This product is easy to assemble , but you will need an electric screwdriver and I used a rubber mallet to slot in the sides. In the raw it looks basic , but painted it great, and I have lined it with thick plastic. The service and delivery were excellent, really efficient. So it is good value .

We Replied:

Dear Rosie Thank you for your question. The planters are already pressure treated so they don't require preservative. However you might want to treat them with Danish oil if over time if the timber starts to fade. I would line the product with a weed control fabric.
