Handcrafted in the UK from sustainable, certified timber, the bar is pressure treated to protect against rot, decay and insect damage. A 15‑year pressure treatment anti‑rot guarantee applies when maintained according to guidelines. Robust 44 mm x 44 mm framing supports 12 mm thick shiplap tongue & groove cladding, ensuring a weather‑resistant, stylish finish. Its sloped pent roof design allows easy installation against a fence or wall. With an eaves height of 179 cm and an overall height of 214 cm, hosts benefit from comfortable headroom during service.

Take the hassle out of installing your new structure yourself and have Mercia do it for you!
How It Works -
1) Order your new building with this installation service option checked.
2) You'll be contacted to confirm that your base area is ready and prepared (photo evidence required) so that a delivery date for your product can be booked in.
3) Once delivery has been completed, you'll be contacted again to book in an installation date. You'll need somewhere safe at home or in the garden for the structure's parts to be kept safe until then.
4) The install team will arrive on the agreed installation day, build your building to a professional standard and clean up after themselves - leaving you ready to enjoy your new structure!
Note: Direct access to the installation side is required, along with a pre-prepared, level and hard-standing base area (concrete/slabbed/decking/wooden frame) with at least 60cm (2ft) clearance surrounding the area for easy maneuverability and placement of the building's sections.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.
About Mercia Products
All Mercia garden products are eco-friendly because they're crafted from timber only sourced from sustained forests. This means that trees are cut down responsibly and many more are replanted in their place. Most Mercia products come with a cosmetic dip treatment, so it is advised to treat your products at least once a year with a preservative in order to protect them and validate the warranty.
About Wooden Products
All Mercia products are hand made, from wood which is a natural product. As much as the crafters try their best to get rid of splinters and rough edges, we can't guarantee that it will be 100% smooth planed. There may be slight imperfections like cracks or splits in the wood that may occur with changes in the weather, these natural characteristics are due to the wood losing moisture during warm and dry seasons, and during exposure to intense sunlight. During colder and wetter seasons the wood will uptake moisture again which will reduce these splits or cracks, This is of no detriment to the product however if you are worried about how the furniture looks cosmetically then we would recommend using a clear decking oil on the furniture but only apply this once the wood has dried out fully.
*Guarantee
For general products, a 15-year manufacturer anti-rot guarantee is offered on pressure treated timber products, and a 10-year manufacturer anti-rot guarantee is offered on dip treated timber products.
Any advertised manufacturer guarantee is only valid when completing the manufacturer's product registration and following the installation and wood preservative/treatment guidelines found within the instruction manual provided with the product.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
