Description
The Lotus 8 x 6 double hinged door mobility scooter shed offers wide-entry access and low maintenance construction.
Perfectly suited to storing a mobility scooter, ride-on lawnmower, bicycles or just bulky items that you wish to store out of the way, the extra-wide 1.3m door entrance offers over 25% extra width space compared to the standard 8x6 shed by Lotus.
The shed's frame makes use of galvanized steel beams, which secures the hot-dipped, painted steel wall panels, finished off in a modern anthracite grey colour, which not only looks great but is virtually maintenance-free and unlike wooden sheds, won't need painting or treating and won't fade, crack or rot.
Delivered flat-packed for easy home delivery, or can be purchased with installation to take the hassle out of having to set it up yourself at home (see options below).

Would You Like A Floor Kit?
All Lotus Sheds are advised to be Installed on a hard standing surface base area. We offer either a metal foundation kit or a timber floor kit to aid with installation onto a stable surface. A damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) should be placed prior to installing your shed/base to limit condensation.
Note: Only one foundation/floor kit below can be used, they are not designed to be both used together.
with Metal Foundation Kit (FK86)
A self-assembled framework, formed with metal battens. When installing your shed, the foundation frame is assembled first and then your shed is installed and bolted on top.
Once fully installed, concrete can be used to flood in between the interior battens to make a concrete floor inside or alternatively, timber plywood boards can be used over the top to form a wooden floor (concrete and timber not included).
with Timber Floor Kit (FL86)
A pressure impregnated wooden floor kit consists of pre-cut boards and battens which when assembled at home with the fixings purchased separately offers a durable base to install and bolt your shed down onto.

with Anchor Hilti Screws & Drill Bit
A set of ready to use Hilti screws to anchor your shed down into concrete or flagstone bases, fitting through pre-drilled holes in the shed's base rail. Masonry drill bit (15/64ins) supplied.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 15 working days (1 - 3 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Service
Our installation service is applicable to Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh, but not above.
Products ordered with an installation service will first be delivered to your delivery address within the estimated timeframe stated above. Once delivery has been confirmed, the installation team shall then arrange to attend to your property in order to install the structure for you.
The current lead time for installation, following successful delivery is within 20 working days.
Note that this will lead to the product needing to be temporarily stored at your property after it has been delivered and checked over until the date the installation occurs. We recommend the product to be stored in a safe and dry place such as in a garage, shed, or similar during this interlude period.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
