Description

At nearly 9ft high and 5ft wide, the Infinity Arch from Forest offers a fabulous opportunity to introduce height and structural interest into your garden, a lovely focal point that will certainly catch the eye.

Although perhaps inspired by the grandeur of Roman architecture, the arch will effortlessly find a place in a contemporary themed garden as it features smooth planed wood, a natural finish and a distinct absence of elaboration.

The rot-resistant timber from which it is manufactured has been pressure treated and boasts a generous fifteen-year guarantee, so without doubt, the arbour will be a wonderful long term investment.

This Forest product is pressure treated and carries a 15 year guarantee against rot. This means it will never require any further treatment - saving time and money and helping the environment by reducing the amount of chemicals used annually.

Forest's entire product range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, every product carries the FSC logo, ensuring that timber comes from properly managed forests and controlled sources.

Vehicles We Use
For the majority of cases, items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the maneuvering of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Tania Asked:

Which metal fixing posts would you recommend for this arch?

We Replied:

Dear Tania Thank you for your question. For anchoring the arch you have a number of options. Note that the arch is designed and supplied with extended legs that allow the user to sink 30cm of the legs into the ground to anchor the product. The length of the leg up to the first rung / cross member is 70cm. This allows you to put 30cm into the ground and you will still have head clearance of 210cm to the lower arch. Without sinking the legs this clearance would be 240cm. The legs can be sunk into holes dug in the ground with the soil being compacted back or concreted in. A quicker and easier solution would be to use anchoring spikes such as those on our website – https://www.gardensite.co.uk/fencing/forest-metal-fixing-for-border-edging.htm The depth of the second hole from the top of these spikes is 135mm so I would drive these into the ground, flush to the back of each leg of the arch so that the second hole down is at ground level to allow you to put a screw through the top and second hole down. Position the spikes so the rounded side is facing out and place a piece of scrap timber on the top of the spike while you hammer it down with a mallet – don’t hammer directly onto the spike. If you use spikes be aware that the arch will be tall – all our images have been taken with the legs sunk in the ground or sawn down 30cm to show what the arch looks like allowing for the legs to be sunk. If you do decide to saw the legs down you should treat the cut ends with some end grain protector or something else that will seal or protect the cut end. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren
