This is a fabulous rendition of the Mad Hatter, one of the most well known and charismatic characters from Lewis Carroll's classic tale of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Keeping very much to his appearance in the book's original illustrations, he has been carefully crafted from top class hardwearing resin with a very impressive top hat that carries the message 'In this style 10/6'.

In the book he is referred to as just 'the Hatter', the soubriquet 'Mad' evolved latter, not surprisingly as his bold features, disorderly hair and extravagant bow tie - together with his never ending tea party - display a certain eccentricity.

Part of a Home & Garden's Wonderland Ornament Set, the Mad Hatter will be look marvellous displayed and attract a great deal of attention on his own but Alice, the Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit can all be added to create a fantastic display.

Mad Hatter Statue

Good speed of delivery and appeared to be well packaged but, unfortunately, when my partner opened his birthday present, the base of the statue was broken and only the part surrounding the outline of the shoes was intact. I suggested returning the item but being a stalwart creature, my partner has insisted that he could make a new base before autumn winds attempt to resite my purchase in another location! The detail and finish is good but the statue is lighter in weight than expected so extra anchorage may be advisable.
