Garden Memorial Ideas
Urn Pedestals - Memorial pedestals can house an urn of a loved one's ashes, and typically come with a planter, bird bath or sundial top, giving a place within your garden where you may reflect and remember whilst also incorporating the feature into your garden setting.
Haddonstone have a selection of memorials crafted, in similar fashion to their other top quality ornaments, from reconstituted limestone that weathers just like quarried stone and has the surface texture and appearance of Portland stone, Bathstone, or Terracotta.
The urns are classically decorated and stand on a substantial and very elegant stepped pedestal. They can be used as planters, perhaps filled with your loved one's favourite flowers, or bird baths while others feature sundials – a reminder that time stops for no-one.
Each pedestal can accommodate two receptacles containing loved ones' ashes. An inscription can be stone cut or a perspex plaque attached with a name, dates and additional wording, presented in black or white lettering with a gold, black or silver background.
You may alternatively opt for something a little more discrete, such as a Memorial Block that can either plain with a short message or decorated with rope moulding along the edges and around the flower container in the top. Memorial Ornaments can be placed at a grave site or in the garden to act as a token of remembrance. Ornaments come in many forms, most popular being angels and religious subjects.
Memorial Bench - Benches are a popular, traditional way to remember a loved one, usually placed in the garden or at a communal locationwhere memories were made, such as a park or club. Benches can be inscribed, or have an inscribed plaque dedicated to your loved one.
