Made from Acacia wood, the Lutyens wooden bench has been robustly crafted, it will enhance any location with time-honoured Edwardian style and will be a well used resting place for many years to come,

Acacia is renowned for its sustainability, strength and resilience to weathering, there are three colour finishes to choose from: forest white (white with a hint of green for a more natural garden look), a delightful chestnut featuring grey tones, or neutral wood, all of which are hand-oiled for a traditional, almost antique-looking finish, along with added protection from weathering.

Fast Free Delivery within Mainland UK.
Extra charges will apply to Scottish Highlands and Islands. In some cases we can even deliver outside the mainland e.g. Channel Isles and arrange the VAT element for you. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Nice looking bench

Nice looking bench but not as "grey" as I was hoping. Took ages to put together but then I am an arthritic pensioner!!! Didn't fit together as perfectly as I would have liked & there have been a few cracks appeared in the would & a few joints have separated slightly (not down to how I put it together as I got my very fit grandson to go over everything). I have put some wood glue on these cracks & hope it will do the trick. It is now covered up for the winter.

Lutyens style Garden bench

Bought this as a gift, the recipient is really delighted with the style, colour and finish of the product. More detailed construction information would have been appreciated! Otherwise excellent.

Can this bench be painted?

Dear Laura-Jayne Thank you for your question. This product can be painted using any garden paint product suitable for use on wooden surfaces. However, please be advised that the finish on this item is oil-based so it will need to be thoroughly sanded down to prepare the surface before any other product is applied.
