Description

With all the style of suburban detached bungalow, the Tom Chambers Hedgehog House offers a safe, warm and insulated home to these endangered animals that are so rarely seen nowadays.

The house has been delightfully handcrafted using FSC certified timber and the apex slate roof will keep any straw bedding placed inside perfectly dry.  Specially formulated Hedgehog Food can also be left out as further encouragement.

By positioning in a quiet corner of your garden and remembering to leave gaps in any fencing so the the hogs can freely roam after dark, you will be helping to conserve one of our most cherished animals.

Summer sleeping quarters

My regular hog brought 2 babies to the house in Spring 2020 after spending the previous Summer in there. I suggest that this house is raised on a couple of bricks because the floor started to split when wet. Hogs don’t have any difficulty climbing in. The roof can be unscrewed to clean out old hay bedding.
