You don't need to be a wildlife lover to have a bird table.
It helps of course if you do have an interest in avian activity but almost everyone will enjoy watching the range of species that a bird table will attract.
You have to remember to put out food for the whole year. Birds expend a lot of energy visiting places to feed and during the winter well stocked garden bird tables are vital for their survival.
The Windrush Bird Table from Rowlinson is made from sustainable softwood and will be a feature in your garden for many years.
Over that time, even if you aren't a twitcher, you will enjoy observing birds and listening to their song.

Questions and Answers (1)
What sort of maintenance do you suggest for the bird table at the end of each year to keep it in good condition. Should I stain it? varnish it? Do you recommend a type of wood preservative to put on the wood?We Replied:
Dear Brad Thank you for your question. I suggest a Danish Oil or Linseed Oil to bring out the wood stain. Do not use a varnish. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James DoddSaturday 09th, May, 2015
