Description
Although adapting quite well to the man-made environment and a fairly common sight hovering over roadside verges, the Kestrel is another species that has declined over the years.
This handmade FSC timber Kestrel Nesting Box will provide a safe place for them to breed, and it is another Wildlife World box that features a camera clip for you to monitor any activity in the nest.
The slow dried timber has not been treated with preservative and is screwed and jointed to ensure robust and long lasting durability,
Its lightweight design allows trouble free placement and features an integral side perch where both adults and fledglings can exercise their wings.

Siting: Placing the box close to insect-rich grassland will increase the chances of occupation of this nesting box. We would recommend placing the box 5m high up a tree or you can use a pole if a tree is unavailable. There must be a clear flight path to the box. We would recommend the box facing East/ North East or South East.
Monitoring: The ideal cleaning period for this nesting box is between September to March when there are no breeding birds. We strongly recommend not disturbing the breeding birds from Spring to Summer.

Delivery within Mainland England & Wales
Delivery of Wildlife World products to mainland England & Wales is charged at £3.99.
Delivery to Scotland, remote areas such as Scottish Highlands (Scotland and highlands as deemed by the carrier), Isles and Islands will require a custom delivery charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other country.
Delivery Period
We aim to dispatch and deliver within 5 - 10 Working Days.
Timeframes may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.
