Description
Well loved and distinctive with a delightful heart shaped face, the number of barn owls have been drastically reduced through modern farming techniques and loss of habitat.
The Barn Owl Nesting Box has been designed with the assistance of owl conservationists, it has straight sides and is hand made from FSC timber, free from chemical preservative, and recycled plastic.
Lightweight and easy to install, owls can land on the large front platform or the flat top where fledglings can exercise. The interior is deep and safe for chicks and a drilled floor provides drainage and ventilation.
So that you can closely (and legally) observe this protected species without disturbance, there is a clip on which a camera can be fitted.

Siting: Barn Owls are accustomed to open countryside and not so much tree infested areas therefore we would recommend positioning the box on a tree in a hedgerow, a tree out in the open or in a barn. It should be positioned with a clear flight path to the entrance approximately 2.5-5m high ideally facing East/ North East or South East. Because of their low level hunting style, we wouldn't recommend placing the box within half a mile of any major roads to prevent accidents.
Monitoring: Barn Owls are known to have several broods and have a long breeding season. To avoid disturbing breeding Barn Owls, we'd recommend cleaning the box from November to February to avoid disturbance.

Delivery within Mainland England & Wales
Delivery of Wildlife World products to mainland England & Wales is charged at £3.99.
Delivery to Scotland, remote areas such as Scottish Highlands (Scotland and highlands as deemed by the carrier), Isles and Islands will require a custom delivery charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other country.
Delivery Period
We aim to dispatch and deliver within 5 - 10 Working Days.
Timeframes may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.
