Its aluminium frame creates a sturdy structure to which the polycarbonate panels are attached. Polycarbonate is classed as being 'virtually unbreakable' by Palram Canopia, it's a high impact material that's also resistant to UV rays, meaning that the panels won't peel or crack.
The specially crafted roof looks normal from the outside, but actually lets in natural sunlight. Additional notable features include integrated air vents, a galvanized steel base for sturdy support and wide double doors for ease of access.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Good value product
First impressions were that it was a little flimsy, but once it is all assembled it is surprisingly sturdy. I would, though, recommend that any prospective purchaser have a means of securing the finished article in place. Having read various reviews and forums I was quite happy to purchase although I would say that it took two of us nearly six hours to complete the build. My only (slight) criticism is that, in places, the erection instructions could be clearer. Take time and care to ensure that you have the various rods the right way around and all will be fine. All in all a good investment for a long term goal.

Delivery was very fast but I feel the quality is somewhat lacking. I needed to erect the shed before the winter storms set in, but even with 2 male adults it took longer than I thought. The main disappointment was that most of the walls did not overlap the base which left many screw access holes open to the elements and would cause water to ingress the shed. I had to carefully seal around the joints between the walls and base to cover up all the holes. The doors are extremely flimsy compared to the 10 x 8, something Palram should rectify immediately.Besides the main construction faults, it is a nice looking shed. I would recommend some serious design changes.

Parlam 8x8 Shed
Delivery was so fast that I didn't plan it that weekend:) It was free and the nice guy called me at work and said he had left it round the back so it was out of sight from the road. Very pleased with this attention to care/detail. Started building the bottom framework just to tinker and got hooked, I just couldn't stop building, Instructions were clear, I had no problems with them (it's useful to study them a few days before). I got all the framework out of the box and the screws and laid them out in groups.The frame is easy to make and I slotted the plastic panels in by myslef. I didn't get any help until the last day when i did the roof and that was only to speed things up. I took my time for the most part, doube checking everything. I have not bolted it down yet but the recent winds did not cause any issues (will be buying some metal plugs to do this). I used silicone for certain screws for extra sealing. The metal arches that support the roof strucutre have a bolt that protrudes just enough to bolt on some monostrut fixings to hang ladders from etc. I used a socked set as it was easier than the little tool they give. Don't worry too much about the nuts and bolts as they supply pleanty of spares in the pack. My only gripe is that this didn't come with a floor but I knew that before I bought it.

Stronger Than It Looks
I didn't want a shed that needed lots of maintenance, life's for living not painting, so this one fits the bill. I agree with others that the structure appears flimsy at first but when I (and a couple of friends) had finished putting it up it was strong enough. My advice is to follow the instructions or you'll get in a tangle, and bribe a friend or two with tea and sandwiches to help out.
