Description
A Yardmaster 10ft x 8ft shiplap metal shed will be a tremendous addition to any garden due to its top-quality specifications and design.
Easy entry is through sliding double doors, so useful if you are storing large items and the interior benefits from translucent roof panels which have excellent light transmission.
This is an impressive dry and spacious environment with high walls and an apex roof creating lots of headroom. It is so easy to move about inside that there is the opportunity to use the shed for activities other than storage.
As the shed is fabricated from galvanized steel which has a zinc coating, it is virtually maintenance-free and has a 15-year guarantee not to be affected by rust.
In fact, the shed's appearance is particularly appealing with taupe wall panels in the style of shiplap cladding, a dark brown roof, doors, and trims. Rainwater will not affect the exterior as gutters are fitted as standard.
The shed is naturally very robust and its stability is enhanced by anchor bolts that are fixed to a hard surface, and the doors can be padlocked to ensure security for any valuable contents
Installation Advice:
YardMaster sheds are provided flat packed for convenient home delivery and come with full instructions to install at home. We recommend that this shed is installed on a hard standing surface such as concrete, slabs, patio bricks or decking, which you may then securely bolt the shed down to your hard standing floor with the included anchoring bolts.

This floor frame kit is designed to go inside of your shed to provide a raised internal floor, increasing the internal floor height level to the bottom runner of the shed. This is ideal for getting your lawn movers, scooters etc in and out without damaging the bottom door runner as well as to keep your possessions up off the shed base floor.
You can then use timber panels or boards (not included) over the floor frame battens to create a raised wooden floor.

Standard Delivery Period
Our standard delivery service will typically be made within 5 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year.
Please allow for additional delivery time for larger products and for delivery to areas outside of the mainland due to the additional logistics and delivery distance.
Express Delivery Period
Our optional express delivery service is available on selected models, offering an expedited delivery method of 3 working days.
This service is is chargeable at a small additional charge (as per the delivery options above) and is limited to within mainland England only.
Unfortunately this service is not available to any part of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, any isles, or to any of the bespoke delivery locations.
Note: Weekends and bank holidays are not working days, so if you ordered on a Friday, delivery would occur approximately on Wednesday the following week.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Good looking but complicated & fiddly!
Excellent delivery from a friendly & helpful driver. 2 x very heavy boxes contained a multitude of parts which take a long time to assemble! Still, the shed looks great & other than the complexity of all the parts due to the vast number, is straightforward to erect. Time will tell, but I expect it to last & last. The base does need to be flat - in my case recycled slabs from elsewhere in the garden.

A very good metal shed!
I purchased the Yardmaster 108SL after a lot of research into the best solution for building a home gym in my back garden (and I have not been disappointed). The reviews on other sites for Yardmaster sheds were mixed - particularly with a lot of complaints about the instructions and assembly. My experience: - This may be obvious, but it’s important to have a flat and level base to build upon. I used 2’x2’ concrete slabs – 5x4 of these are a good fit for the 108SL. - The instructions could be clearer, but if you've ever done flat-pack assembly before, it's not much more complicated than that. - A decent electric screwdriver is essential! - I had no major problems with aligning holes. The only drilling I had to do was to lengthen a couple of the 7mm holes into slots in the main horizontal roof member. - The floor kit is worth buying for fitting a proper raised floor. - It took me and a friend around 14 hours to complete the assembly (not including fitting the floor). For those other reviewers who complain at how difficult/complex the build process is and claim being an engineer as qualification, I too am an engineer and know many other engineers with little or no common sense or practical skills! My only real negative is that the roof leaks in heavy rain - not excessively, just a few drip points. I'm in the process of adding silicone sealant to all the roof joints and screwed holes in an attempt to cure this... Hall's (Garden Site) was the best price I could find; the rest of the customer service I experienced was directly from Yardmaster and was excellent. Delivery took just over a week, but they communicated clearly the delivery date and slot. The driver was very helpful carrying the two heavy/bulky boxes to where I wanted in the garden.

Solid Foundations are the Key to this VFM Shed.
This is a great value for money shed as it gives an awful lot of storage for the price. A level solid base is essential to install the building which from my previous experiences is the key. Don't overtighten the screws which will help in aligning the srews to the holes. Avoid a windy day and get some help with the installation which will cut the time down dramatically. It is also worth putting some Damp Proof membrane under the base as well. Looks good now finished and in situ.
