Graham Steel Asked:

Can I presume we need to put down the concrete base?

We Replied:

Dear Graham Thank you for your question. You will need to have a flat hard standing base for this item. The installers will put the building on a base, but they will not build a hard standing base for it. If you want to call Nathan on 0121 355 7701 he can help discuss this further. We sell a lot of these buildings to schools. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Steven Asked:

I am considering purchasing one of your Gazebos for my new home, and noticed on many of your pictures they are on grass. Is grass acceptable? and what preparation would I need to do prior to installation?

We Replied:

Dear Steven Thank you for your question. Grass is not acceptable long term as during the winter, when the ground gets wet, the gazebo will inevitably sink in one corner or another causing it to buckle. The best base would be either flagstones or concrete. I have included a link which is a guide on how to construct a base. /blog/guides/how-to-build-a-concrete-shed-base-for-your-shed Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701.
