The 1.7mm thick, galvanised steel wire used for the mesh is coated in a layer of green PVC to give a new thickness (gauge) of 2.2mm, adding to its strength, longevity and corrosion resistance.
The distinctive, crimped design is well-known for adding strength and rigidity to the mesh.
The mesh aperture, known as the pitch, is 100mm x 50mm in size meaning that nothing larger than this will be able to pass through.
