Andy Asked:
I am looking at buying the Grange contemporary fence panels. Do you have a H post that has a slot wide enough for these to fit into?
We Replied:
Dear Andy,
Thank you for your question.
The manufacturer do not offer a wooden H post however, they do have a concrete one on offer. Please see the link below:

Julie Asked:
Does the contemporary panel provide privacy - can you see through it?
We Replied:
Dear Julie
Thank you for your question.
These panels are made using horizontal boards at the front which have slight gaps in between, but then a fully closed board is behind them, which means that they can't be seen through in between the gaps. This makes them ideal if you're looking for something stylish yet also to add privacy.
I hope that this information helps.

Mark Dibley Asked:
Do you do the contemporary fence panels in standard panel widths of 1830mm (6ft)? Otherwise, do you recommend that I move all my fence posts so that i can use these?
We Replied:
Dear Mark
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, this is a new product and only comes in the one size as standard with a width of 1790mm. We hope that the manufacturer will extend the range in the future, but as it stands we can only offer this size.
Instead of moving your current fence posts, you could extend their thickness by screwing some wooden planks to them to make up the difference in size so that the fence panels would fit flush without a gap in between.

Claire Asked:
Is it possible to paint these panels given they have a solid board behind the slots?
We Replied:
Dear Claire
Thank you for your question.
Yes, it is possible that you can paint these panels. They are pressure treated to prevent rot but can be painted straight away with a suitable outdoor wood paint. We would recommend painting before installing.

Is it necessary to paint or creosote these panels, if so what would you recommend?

Dear Helen
Thank you for your question.
It is not necessary to paint these panels as they are pressure treated. If you do decide to paint them, any product designed for outdoor use will be appropriate.
