GardenSite's Ornaments Featured On The BBC

Over the past few years, Citizen Khan, starring Adil Ray, has established itself as a very popular BBC comedy. We were therefore more than happy to supply the production company with a pair of Lion Garden Ornaments to decorate the front entrance of Mr Khan's house.

The Lions which appear in Citizen Khan

The comedy series Citizen Khan was first shown in 2012 and received impressive viewing figures, the central figure is a laughably opinionated community leader who naturally wants to make his rather mundane house as grand as possible.

This is taken from the BBC website:- "Citizen Khan is a warm family comedy set in the capital of British Pakistan - Sparkhill, East Birmingham. It follows the trials and tribulations of self-appointed Muslim community leader Mr Khan (Adil Ray) and his long suffering family."

These pair of lions were the obvious choice, as they are made from solid concrete and very durable, you should see a lot of them as the series progresses.

They are not the only lions available on GardenSite, our Gondwana and Etosha lions are named after the Southern Africa game reserves, the Leazes Park Lion was specially commissioned as part of a restoration project and, as an alternative to these fierce guardians, there's a cuddly version - Vivid Arts Sitting Lion Cub

In addition, we have an impressive range of other animals crafted in resin and marble as well as stone. These include other exotic animals, domestic pets and amphibians.

Dogs, puppies, birds and farmyard animals abound and the children will love the meerkat collection with these lovable animals portrayed as several characters.

All the animals will certainly be great conversational subjects. Manufactured from high quality materials they are very hardwearing and can be displayed indoors or outside where they are frost proof and weather resistant.
