Long pane 3mm toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls-branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Installation Services
with Greenhouse Installation
We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England. But excludes Wales, Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the delivery of your greenhouse.
Note: A base plinth MUST be purchased above for installation services to be valid. The installers will not complete the installation without a matching base plinth. Please find our Halls Installation Terms and Preparation Checklist here.

Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.
Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Excellent service from start to finish. Chose to have a few options, the automatic vent opener is really useful, and sat back in the sunshine watching the installer assembling it. No complaints from me.

Pleasure to work in
Don't over tighten the bolts at first as you need a little bit of slack when it comes to adding the last elements of the frame. I chose the tough glass version for safety but it also looks better than the overlapping glass you get with ordinary glass. Looks fabulous in green now it's built and a pleasure to work in.

Excellent Quality Green House
The greenhouse was everything that I expected and then some, the quality is superb and it looks perfect. The greenhouse was erected by myself and in total took me a good 3 days to do this on my own. The only negative point was the clarity of the instructions, these were a photocopy of a photocopy and at times were a pain to read. I was a Quality Engineer until recent retirement, but even for me due to the unclear instructions the job was not straight foward, this is a shame and in my view the plans and installation instructions should be redone to save unnecessary grief for some including I should imagine customer services. Having said all of that and completed the build then the greenhouse is a delight and will not fail to please whoever has one.

What type of window will give the best ventilation?
We Replied:Dear Sandra Thank you for your question. This greenhouse comes with one opening roof vent, the options to improve ventilation are either adding additional roof vents or adding a side louvre window. For a greenhouse of this size, two opening roof vents or one opening roof vent and one louvre window will offer sufficient ventilation. The most popular option is the additional roof vent. The other additional accessories worth considering to aid ventilation are the automatic vent openers or the automatic louvre window openers, these accessories will automatically open the roof vent or louvre window once the temperature reaches a set temperature, and close the vent/window once the temperature falls below the set temperature. What clearance do you need around the base of the greenhouse?
We Replied:Dear Dennis Thank you for your question. If you mean for installation, then you will need 3ft around the base in order to give yourself enough room to install the greenhouse. If you mean the base size, then it's recommended for the base to be slightly larger, around 2ins bigger on each side to allow for successful anchoring of the greenhouse using bolts without the bolts being too close to the edge of your floor.
