Questions and Answers (7)

Irene Boyle Asked:

Can this lattice be used as a free-standing screen or must it rest on or be attached to a fence etc?

We Replied:

Dear Irene Thank you for your question. The screen will need to be secured, perhaps with a post either side, to stop it blowing over just like a fence panel. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Evelyn Teasdale Asked:

I want to attach the Mirror Lattice Screen to a pebble dashed wall. What is the best way to do this?

We Replied:

Hi Evelyn Thank you for your question. We would suggest using a L bracket to secure the mirror on the wall. If it is a pebble wall you would have to sand down the pebbles to create an even space to attach the brackets to. We would not recommend hanging the mirror in case strong winds lift the mirror off the wall and damage it. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Ellie Goodall

Anna Asked:

Is this mirror trellis panel the same on either side, or is it a mirror on one side only, in which case what is it like on the other side?

We Replied:

Dear Anna Thank you for your question. The mirror is only on one side. The other side is a wooden panel and no trellis. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Can this be used as a fence panel in place of a normal fencing panel?

We Replied:

Dear Linda Thank you for your question. Yes, it can be used like a fence panel. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Paul Asked:

Is there a gap between the mirror and the trellis for climbers to grow through?

We Replied:

Dear Paul Thank you for your question. There's not much of a gap, but knowing what climbers are like they will use the lattice to attach their tendrils to climb up and through it. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Regards Nathan

Richard Asked:

Can the trellis be removed from the mirror to facilitate cleaning of the mirror?

We Replied:

Dear Richard, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the trellis cannot be separated from the mirror. The mirror can of course still be cleaned but it means working around the trellis. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind Regards Zach Nicholson

Diane Asked:

The trellis mirror is shown fitted into an arch on your web site, which arch is it fitted into? Also would the arch and mirrored trellis be heavy enough to be freestanding or does it have to be secured in the ground? Also is there a choice of colour for the mirrored trellis and the arch?

We Replied:

Dear Diane Thank you for your questions. The arch shown as an example with the Trellis Mirror is the Elite Portico Arch which you can find here: /Garden_Structures/Elite_Portico_Arch_from_Grange.htm The Arch can be used freestanding, but if attaching the mirror then we would recommend securing the arch onto the ground, just to eliminate any small chance of it falling over in high winds and smashing the mirror. To secure the arch, the feet can either be buried into the ground; by using L-brackets which are screwed to the feet of the arch and then screwed down to decking or patio area; or through the use of ground spikes: /Landscaping/Forest_EasyFit_Fencefast_450x45mm.htm In regards to colour options, the mirror lattice unfortunately isn't available in any colour options apart from its natural timber finish. However, the arch is available in 4 paint colours, which can be seen on the product page. I hope that this information helps. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Andy
