Description
Using both biological and mechanical filtration for clean and clear pond water, the PondXpert SpinClean AUTO 40000 pressure filter also sports an automatic self-cleaning mechanism, saving you time on maintenance.
Upgraded from PondXpert's standard SpinClean models, the SpinClean AUTO range boasts an automatic cleaning backflush system making this the most efficient pond filter yet.
Once the filter becomes saturated with dirt and debris, a red indicator will display atop the unit. Following this, simply:
- Turn off the pump
- Turn the blue dial to 'Clean'
- The filter will then display a red light and the motor will begin turning the cleaning paddle against the sponges
- After this 3 minutes, you will hear a beep which indicates that the cleaning process has finished
- Turn the pump on, and dirty water will begin to escape through the dedicated waste outlet
- Once this water turns clear, turn off the pump
- Turn the blue dial back to 'Pond'
- Switch the pump back on
Including the fine and coarse foams that are included with the unit, it also boasts a 55W UVC and biological media in the form of 'BioBalls' which are situated below the foams, providing excellent additional biological filtration resulting in clear water.
