Sue S. Asked:

Is this suitable to repair a our butyl rubber liner for a wildlife pond i.e. is it non-toxic?

We Replied:

Dear Sue Thank you for your question. This repair patch would be fine for the job as it is non-toxic. You will want to clean the area and dry it, then add the patch and really press it down to make sure it is secure. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan Everton

Karen Asked:

Do you need to apply sealant before fixing the patch and do you need to put sealant around the patch after applying?

We Replied:

Dear Karen Thank you for your question. You do not need to apply any sealant prior to using the patch. All you need to do is make sure is that the area is dry and free from dirt and grease. You can apply a small amount of sealant after applying the patch in order to make sure that is completely water tight, although this isn't compulsory. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Connor Fisher

michael cass Asked:

I bought some of your Oase patches but they are not colour coded as in your pictures and on the Oase video (they are black on both sides). One side is smooth and one textured. Which one goes onto the liner surface?

We Replied:

Dear Michael Thank you for your question. The smooth side goes onto the surface and then once down you remove the textured cover. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan Everton
