A well made unit with a good filter cleaning system that is top class
I have a Oase FiltoClear 15000 with a 11w uv light. Is it possible to have a 13w, or even better an 18w, light instead, if they are the same size in length as the 11w?We Replied:
Good Day Naz Thank you for your question. This unit is only suitable for 11watt light, as the ballast is not strong enough to take a larger UV lamp. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards David CotonSunday 23rd, February, 2014
I have an older style Oase15000 that has developed a problem in that water has been getting into the lamp connection and shorting out the system. I have taken the part out and dried it and purchased a new lamp, however it still shorts out when I try to re-install it. Is it possible to purchase the lamp holder section separately rather than having to purchase a whole new system? We Replied:
Dear Chris Thank you for your question. How do I take out the UV lamp out of my 3 year old 15000 Oase pressurised filter? We Replied:
Dear Beamer Thank you for your question. There are four screws located at the rear of the unit were the cable enters the filter, unscrew these and you can then slide the ballast out with the bulb and quartz attached. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Paul IlsleyThursday 31st, March, 2016
Where is the UV located? We Replied:
Dear Kristian Rohde Jensen Thank you for your question. When the water first enters the filter it goes past the UV then through the filters before being returned to the pond. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan EvertonMonday 09th, April, 2018
Is a 16000 lph pump too big for this FiltoClear or would a 13000 lph version be more suitable? We Replied:
Dear Karl Thank you for your question. A pump with a maximum flow rate of 12000 lph would be best for this filter. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan EvertonTuesday 14th, May, 2019
