Description

A combination of low power consumption and impressive performance makes the AquaOxy 2000 Air Pump an ideal choice for the pond keeper.

Displacing 2000 litres of air per hour and using only 25 watts, the pump will add all the essential oxygen required to boost filtration, which in turn will have a beneficial effect on the health of any fish.

Sturdy and completely weatherproof, the AquaOxy 2000 is simple and very convenient to operate.

Air bubbles, that diffuse oxygen and circulate water, rise from two submerged air stones attached to 5 metres of hose. This all that's needed for ponds up to 20,000 litres (4444 gallons).

Oase integrate German engineering expertise into all their products, the result is excellent reliability and that's why the AquaOxy 2000 is guaranteed for two years.

GREAT AIR PUMP

Bought this pump after the diaphragm in my previous pump failed after 2 years and couldn't be replaced. Yes it costs more but the diaphragms can be replaced for a few pounds. It is also very very quiet and powerful compared with my other pump. I have no hesitation recommending this pump as a great investment for your fish and pond.

Akis Asked:

I have a 70,000 litre pond. Am I really going to need 3+ of these? Is this essential? Not planning to have expensive koi but inexpensive small, cold water fish. Also, do the units need, and come with, non-return valves?

We Replied:

Dear Akis Thank you for your question. An air pump is used to not only oxygenate the pond but also to aid surface movement, as you have such a large pond we would suggest one or more air pumps are used as there could be some areas of your pool were there is little to no surface movement. These particular pumps do not come with non return valves and these would need to be purchased separately. Another option would be to purchase a larger air pump that can have more than 2 outlets to reach any dead spots please follow this link: https://www.gardensite.co.uk/Aquatics/Hozelock_Pond_Air_Pump_4500.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701.
