Norlog 260 Gallon Koi Pond

The innovative design means that assembly can take as little as half an hour - all you have to do is simply slot the wooden slats together in a uniform fashion before inserting the liner, filling with water and then attaching the seat benches with the screws provided.

A thick EPDM liner is included, with an integral section designed to go underground as a sump, deepening the overall depth of the pool - perfect for keeping koi fish. Additionally, three seats are quickly screwed into place at the top of the pool frame, offering a great place to sit, unwind and watch your inhabitants inside go about their daily routine.

With the addition of an optional pump and filtration system, this koi pool can become a lovely ornamental fish pond that is easily accessible. Alternatively, you can choose to create a wildlife haven with plants which will undoubtedly attract a variety of aquatic animals. Due to the speed of assembly, these pools are also ideal for emergency aquatic use (i.e. as quarantine or holding tanks).

As all the wood has been pressure treated, a 10-year anti-rot guarantee is offered and you can be reassured that the timber is sourced sustainably from managed forests.

Base Preparation
Norlog koi ponds do not come with a base and are designed for the below-ground sump section of the included EPDM liner to be dug underground, with the top area of the liner inside of the wooden pool section. To ensure that the included liner does not grind or wear on anything sharp underground, we recommended layering a blanket of sand underneath the sump area of the liner. Alternatively, you may use a piece of redundant carpet, rug or mat cut down to size to cushion the liner and act as a barrier between the bottom of the liner and the ground, thus ensuring maximum durability and life span of your pool.
