I wish to buy the Aquaforce 5500 pump to replace the Titan 5500 I already have but which has broken down, it is linked to a 9000 filter. Should I still connect the filter? The pipe size outlets on the pump are 19, 25, 32 and 40mm, you recommend the 38mm for all your pumps. Should I buy the 32mm? I need 5 metres of flex.

Thank you for your question.
The pipe size of 38mm will be fine. With 40mm piping, some manufacturers quote 38mm and others quote 40mm but it will be the same pipe which is 1 1/2 inch. I would suggest that you still connect the filter.
