Description
It's no surprise that the Rough Basin granite water feature from Stone & Water has been called a 'bird jacuzzi'.
As a water feature, it's unusual appearance immediately makes it stand out from the crowd. With no smooth lines, curves or embellishment, this is a rugged piece of rock, roughly but skillfully shaped into a notable ornamnet.
If it is seen as a bird bath, the jacuzzi effect is created by bubbling water and birds will flock around it, drinking and bathing.
The pump filter will enable the water to stay clean and fresh, providing the birds with vital refreshement even in the winter when everything else is frozen.

Material
All water sculptures are hand carved in solid granite that, unlike concrete, sandstone and inferior materials, will not deteriorate due to adverse weather conditions. Granite is heavy and so we recommend a 2 - 4 person lift at least.
Further, granite is a natural rock formation and as such differing strata can cause veins in the rock. These natural layer features may be present in any section and are beyond our control.
Accessories
Excludes reservoir, pump and light that are all sold separately. It is important to have the right size to limit water loss (we recommend the 100cm reservoir, this will suit most of our water features). It is equally important to have a pump powerful enough for the height and number of outlets of the feature. The water flow can be adjusted on all our pumps.

This 100cm diameter reservoir will make the perfect base for a wide range of differently sized water features and if the feature uses a pump, this can act as a self-contained reservoir for the unit, eliminating the need for a mains water supply. It's remarkably easy to install and maintain. It is suitable for use with water features weighing up to 250kg. You can enhance the display further by adding a layer of polished pebbles to the top of the reservoir.
