I have an amphibious 9000 which needs replacing, which model would you recommend? It has to pump 8 metres and 2 metres in height ?We Replied:
Dear Samuel Thank you for your question. The Blagdon Force-Hybrid 10000 Pond Pump would be a suitable replacement please see the link below which also has prices: /Aquatics/Blagdon_ForceHybrid_10000_Pond_Pump.htm Kind regards Dan EvertonFriday 18th, September, 2015
I have an old Blagdon Amphibious P8000 pump which has ceramic type impeller guides which have disintegrated. The unit has two 11/4in male thread connections for suction and discharge. The suction side is fed by a hose which is embedded in a gravel filter bed some ten metres away. All of the replacement pumps i have seen no longer have both connections but the inlet is filtered within the housing. Can I still obtain the unit with two hose connections? We Replied:
Dear Michael Thank you for your question. We would suggest the Hozelock Aquaforce 8000, this has both an outlet and a secondary inlet which can be used as on a strainer, please see the link below: /Aquatics/Hozelock_Aquaforce_8000_Filter_Pump.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Can this pump be used externally? We Replied:
Dear Mark Thank you for your question. This pump can be used externally, however it will require priming if below the water level. If above the level it will require a one way return valve.
