No problems so far.
From ordering by phone the goods arrived promptly. I was assured when ordering the lights were in stock. The hardest decision was locating the lights in a suitable place. Clearly with limited cable options are reduced. This was compensated for by the ease of connection to a power source. Find a location near to a 13 amp socket add a 13amp plug with a 3amp fuse, screw the connections together and then the lights work. I found a little improvisation was needed to secure the bracket to a wall but not a real problem. Impressed with the amount of light given off. Thought they may have been rather dim. If they last they will be OK. Deemed to be and OK buy.

nigel shears Asked:
As a qualified electrician isn't required, how exactly are these lights installed in terms of connecting them to the cable and connecting to the mains? Is it possible to run more than 2 sets of these lights together? We Replied:
Dear Nigel Thank you for your question. The transformer is rated just for these lights so a second set would need its own transformer. The lights are all connected to one another and then you plug the cable into a transformer which is supplied with the set. Roy Oatham Asked:
How much cable is there between lights of the Blagdon 5 Set of Garden Lights? We Replied:
Dear Roy Thank you for your qyestion. There are 2 metres of cable per light. Three of these lighst feed back to a distributor. This distributor is fed by a 4 metre lead from a secondary distributor which feeds the other 2 lights. This runs to a weatherproof transformer which has 3 metres of mains voltage cable. Does the 5 light set have the sensor so the lights come on at dusk?We Replied:
Dear Anthony Thank you for your question. These lights do not come with a sensor, but with the use of a timer plug. They can be set to come on and go off at certain times. Is it possible to extend the cable to between 6m - 8m between each light fitting? We Replied:
Dear Graham Thank you for your question. These cables can be fitted together to extend even further if desired, although we would not advise more than 30 metres as there will be a voltage drop. Tony Bannister Asked:
I have sets of the Photech amphibious low voltage pond and garden lighting systems manufactured by Interpet, The lighting system appears to be identical to the Blagden 5 set LED Pond and Garden lights and has had very little use. Can I replace the 20watt halogen bulbs with new better LEDs that your up-dated lights have. One supplier thought the transformers may be too powerful. Will the LEDs fit into my lamp holders? If the bulbs will fit and work, would I have to change the transformers for new ones? If I can use the LED bulbs for my lighting set where can I buy the bulbs etc?We Replied:
Dear Tony Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not know if you can use the new LEDs and can only suggest calling the manufacturers on 01306 881033.
